We are very proud to share with the Xavier community that our very own Allen Cu Uy Gam of Grade 3-C won a bronze medal in the recently concluded World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) held in South Korea last July 14-18, 2023. Teaming up with the Asian Math and Science League Incorporated, WMI stands as Taiwan’s pioneering global competition, aimed at fostering a passion for mathematics among students from kindergarten to senior high school. This international and comprehensive contest presents innovative and exemplary problem sets, stimulating participants’ knowledge and skills.

Allen was one of the participants who represented the Philippines and competed against 1274 other delegates across 17 countries.
