The International Baccalaureate Organization has released the results of the most recent May 2021 examination session for the Diploma Program last July 6, 2021.
More than 170,000 students across the world took the May 2021 examination either through the examination or the non-examination route. Among those who took the examination, only less than 1% were able to receive a perfect score of 45/45.
We are pleased to inform our community that Nathan Thomas G. Yang (Class of 2021) received a perfect score of 45/45 in the most recent examination session.
To achieve a perfect score, a student should receive a score of 7/7 in 6 IB Diploma courses ranging from the Languages, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Sciences and Electives. In addition, a student must receive a grade of A in Theory of Knowledge and in the Extended Essay to receive the full bonus of 3 points.
In his two years in the Diploma Program, Nathan took the following IBDP courses: English A Language and Literature SL, Chinese B Mandarin SL, Economics HL, Chemistry HL, Biology HL and Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL.
