We are very proud to announce that Edison Ong (G1-G), Nathan Alexander Ang (G2-E), and Alec Nathan Rongo (G10-F) won gold medals in the Hong Kong International Science Olympiad (HKISO) Heat Round 2022, which was held online last November 27, 2022.
The HKISO Heat Round consisted of two activities. The students had done a one-hour 20-item written exam, which was a right-minus-wrong multiple choice type of exam, and a mini-experiment, which each student chose and demonstrated through a 5-minute video.

The national awarding ceremony will be held online on January 15, 2023 and can be viewed through the Math Olympiads Training League or MOTLI’s Facebook page. The final round will be held in June 2023.
The Hong Kong International Science Olympiad (HKISO) is an International Science Competition held annually around the world. It consists of 4 main categories: Physics, Biology, Chemistry & Integrated Science. HKISO is for students from Grade 2 to Grade 12. It follows closely with Hong Kong School Science Syllabus and tests what students have learned on their level of content.
