Hansly Kendrich Cheng Saw of Grade 10A was recognized as the youngest and most promising paper presenter in the 5th Luminary International Conference with the theme Global Challenges and Innovations in Society and Education held on February 23-26, 2023 at Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand.  

He presented his group’s Science investigatory project entitled “The Effect of Varying pH Levels on Dissolved Oxygen Concentration in Seawater.” The research conference was participated in by 53 students and academicians who are actively engaged in research in the Philippines and other ASEAN countries. It was organized by The Network of Professional Researchers and Educators (NPRE), an organization that showcases the strength and diversity of research and promotes best practices in teaching and learning. This year’s research conference drew 42 submissions of excellent quality research undertaken by students and professional educators. With his focused mind and an indomitable spirit, Hansly’s pursuit of research, sparked by his curiosity, has been given high commendation by the panelists during the onsite conference.
