Three Xavier School sixth graders won the top prizes at the 2021 ASEAN Fest – Jr. Math Wiz Competition which was held last August 28, 2021.

Out of the 20 fifth and sixth grade students from various schools who joined the competition, these Xaverians bagged all three awards:

Jared Christian Cruz – Jr. Math Wiz Champion

Isiah Emmanuel Ty – 1st Runner Up

Jaden Andreas Ang – 2nd Runner Up

According to tua-events.org, the objective of the Jr. Math Wiz Competition was to foster a healthy interaction among school participants as well as to challenge them to expand their knowledge and understanding about mathematics while having fun. This year, the Jr. Math Wiz Competition was held online via Zoom and was conducted using Quizizz, a popular student learning and engagement platform.
