Eight Xaverians from the Grade School and High School units won medals at the Singapore and Asian Schools Math Olympiad (SASMO) held last April 6, 2019.
SASMO is one of the prime Math contests in Asia, with delegates from over a hundred schools throughout the continent. The competition aims at instilling confidence in mathematics not only for the brightest students but for all students with an interest in the field. It is their vision to make every student appreciate Mathematics by challenging them through non-routine problems that develop Mathematical intuition, reasoning, logical, creative and critical thinking.
