Re: Appointments of XSSJ Grade School and High School Administrator
Greetings of peace
Upon confirmation by the Board of Trustees of Xavier School during its board meeting on 14 December 2019, I am pleased to announce the Principal’s Teams in Grade School and High School, who will serve from S.Y. 2020-21 to 2022-23:
Grade School

- Mrs. Rovelita Nagutom-Bermejo – Assistant Principal for Academics – Senior High School
- Mrs. Andrea Chaveli Ventosa-dela Cerna – Assistant Principal for Formation
Mrs. Nebres-Ladrido will continue to serve as our Institutional Academic Supervisor.

PROFILES OF THE APPOINTED ADMINISTRATORS
GRADE SCHOOL
Principal
Mrs. Calleja-Cacacho has been with Xavier School for 29 years, and holds an MA degree in Education, Major in Special Education, from the University of the Philippines. She started as a GS English teacher and has served in various administrative positions, such as Grade 4 Team Leader, GS Student Activity Program Coordinator, Grade 3 Level Coordinator, Administrative Assistant to the School Director, GS English Department Chair, and HS Principal. She is currently the GS Principal.
Assistant Principal for Academics
Mr. Perez has been serving the School for 24 years, and holds an MA degree in Science Education from the National Institute of Education in Singapore. After being a GS Science teacher for many years, he was appointed as the department’s Chairperson, a position that he holds until the present.
Assistant Principal for Formation
Mrs. Santos-Orqueza is on her 23rd year of service in the School and has an MA in Education, Major in Educational Administration from the Ateneo de Manila University. After serving as a teacher in Nursery, Prep and Grade 1, she served in various administrative positions: Kinder Team Leader, Grade 2 Team Leader, and currently, as Grades 5 to 6 Team Leader.
HIGH SCHOOL
Principal
Mrs. Nebres-Ladrido has been with the School for 22 years, and holds an MA degree in Education, Major in Educational Administration from the Ateneo de Manila University. She started as an English teacher in HS, and later served in various administrative positions: HS English Department Chair, HS Assistant for Academic Affairs, English Overall Coordinator, HS Assistant Principal for Academics, Senior HS Assistant Principal for Academics and Academic Supervisor of the School System. She currently holds the two latter positions. She was also awarded the Pineau-Clifford Most Outstanding Junior Teacher in S.Y. 2001-2002.
Junior High School Assistant Principal for Academics
Mr. Yu belongs to the Xavier School Class of 1997, and has been serving the School for 18 years. He has an MA in Education, Major in Basic Education Teaching from the Ateneo de Manila University. After being a Social Science teacher in HS, he served as HS Social Science Department Chair, Assistant for the IB Program, and as Junior HS Assistant Principal for Academics until the present. In 2003-2004, he was awarded as the Pineau-Clifford Most Outstanding Rookie Teacher.
Senior High School Assistant Principal for Academics
Mrs. Bermejo has been with the School for 26 years. After being a Math teacher in HS for many years, she was appointed as the department’s Chairperson. Currently, she is the Senior HS Standard Program Coordinator.
Assistant Principal for Formation
Mrs. Ventosa-Dela Cerna is on her 16th year of service in the School, and holds an MA degree in Education, Major in Educational Administration from the Ateneo de Manila University. She has served the School in various capacities: GS English teacher, GS Team Leader for Unit 3, Middle School Team Leader for Grades 7 and 8, and HS Prefect of Discipline, a position she holds until the present.
